AWARE - A research study for children and teens who have both autism and ADHD.
Help doctors, clinicians and researchers learn more about managing ADHD symptoms in youth with autism.
Who: Children and teens ages 4 through 17 years of age, with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
What: Comparative Effectiveness of Pharmacologic Management of ADHD in Children and Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (AWARE).
Where: At your Children’s Hospital.
When: Study is up to 19 weeks long and requires taking an ADHD medication, completing questionnaires, and meeting with the study team every two weeks. Most visits can be done by a phone or video call!
